This book had the captivating effect to envelop your senses to the keenest of their abilities to feel as if you were there. I chose this book because of my love of animals and my love of the time I too spent working in Africa. This book allowed myself to be transported back to my heavenly safari. It is a book rich with history which was enlightening as history had always been my weakness, rich with culture, and rich with knowledge. To say this book would enrich one’s life would not be an exaggeration. It’s written at a gentle flowing pace you would feel if you were sitting on the veranda watching the tranquil safari sunset.
